I am a 43 year old survivor of an mentally and physically abusive marriage to an alcoholic. I have 3 wonderful children who also suffered with me. I am currently in counseling and finally realizing that I do matter and that I will one day be somebody. I know that furthering my education in professional writing will help give me the tools that I need to return to society in a grand way.
